Join us to kick off the 2025-2026 school year with Blessing of the Backpacks on August 10 at both services! Bring your backpack with you to church and we will have a special moment during service to pray over our students and teachers before the beginning of this school year.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season. Join us for a special evening service with imposition of ashes.

All veterans from all branches invited to come together in the Fellowship Hall for conversation and light dinner.

The Questions Jesus Asks - Sermon Series
This 11-week sermon series in both services stands as a balance to the last series featuring your questions. We will now look at how striking, probing and life giving the questions are that Jesus asks in Scripture.

Lessons & Carols
The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols is a service of Scripture and song that dates to the late 19th century. In this service, we listen to nine Scripture lessons which recount the Fall, the promise of a Messiah, the Incarnation, and the Great Commission to preach the Good News. Come Join us for this beautiful Christmas tradition!


Downtown Monroe Christmas Parade
Monroe First is a great place to watch the parade come down the street! We will have hot chocolate and cookies for the community in our front parking lot. Come get in the Christmas spirit with your Monroe First Church Family!

Hanging of the Greens
